Online Theatre (It’s Not All) Zoom & Gloom! Roustabout Theatre Online Show

Online Theatre – Bristol-based family theatre company creates online live show for locked-down audiences

Writer and director Toby Hulse, is back with a brand new family play created for Zoom audiences.

(It’s not all) Zoom & Gloom! will be performed live, semi improvised and streamed live on YouTube. The show will later be made available as a recording on the company’s website.

‘When friends and family gather together for an online chat with the ever-grumpy Ben, they find that nothing they say will cheer him up. Pinching an idea from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, they decide to dress up as figures from his past, present and future and teach him that, although we may be physically apart, we can still stay connected.’

The show is aimed at audiences aged five years and over and has been supported by Arts Council England.

Writer and director Toby Hulse says: “These are strange times, but it’s really important that we stay in touch with each other. That’s the moral of the story!”
