Pirate Story Walks from Show of Strength Bristol

Popular Bristol theatre company Show of Strength, are running a series of Treasure Island Pirate Story Walks during the school half term.

Families will be guided by a real-life pirate with his fact-checking parrot Ted.

The walks are running from Saturday 29 May to Sunday 06 June, taking place at 2pm and 4pm each day.

Show of Strength creative producer, Sheila Hannon said: “Avast me hearties, this be a rip-roaring show for all the family. A story of buried treasure, hidden booty and some of the most infamous pirates ever to sail the seven seas.”

“The story walk is packed full of pirates and buccaneers, and lashings of doubloons, told right here where it all happened: Bristol docks. Accompanied by Ted, the fact checking parrot, children are going to love it, but we can’t say the same for the questionable pirate jokes.”

The Treasure Island Story Walk is also available to book as a private tour. All tours observe social distancing guidelines and are limited to 20 with a maximum of 6 to walk together.

Recommended for ages 8 years upwards.

Tickets are priced at adults £12, under 16s £6 and family tickets (2 adults, 2 children) £30
