Rabble Rousers Spring Opera Season at Bristol Hippodrome from Welsh National Opera

Welsh National Opera Spring Season at Bristol Hippodrome 2018

It’s the fiftieth anniversary of music from the Welsh National Opera in Bristol this year. To celebrate, the opera company is bringing us a series of delightful ‘rabble rousers’.

The company first came to the Bristol Hippodrome on 25 March 1968, with their first visit including Don Giovanni – one of the spring season’s 2018 revivals.

“The company has enjoyed an excellent relationship with the team at Bristol Hippodrome and with the Bristol audiences over the years,” WNO’s Managing Director Leonora Thomson said.

“The fact that we have been touring there for 50 years speaks for itself and we look forward to continuing this special connection for many years to come.”

The WNO will be at The Bristol Hippodrome from Wednesday 11 – Saturday 14 April 2018, with Tosca, Don Giovanni and La Forza del Destino.
