Second Chancers at Alma Tavern Theatre This July

Second Chancers, a brand new show by Bristol creatives, is coming to the Alma Tavern Theatre this July, ahead of a run at the Edinburgh Festival.

The show, written by Maria Hemming and Lucy Barnfather, is a character comedy spoof looking at trashy reality show dating, particularly the over 35s who have been around the dating game a few times.

Stella is a sales rep for Flippin’ Fantastic. She ends up being exploited by the production company when all she wants to do is find love.

Set to a list of classic 90s hits, Second Chancers wades through the dating minefield of gender inequalities, toxic masculinity, serial killers and social media – but guarantees to leave audiences exiting the auditorium with feel-good vibes.

Second Chancers will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre 06 – 08 July 2023
