Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em Barn Theatre Cirencester

Perfect summer laughs in Cirencester starting this month

This summer, Barn Theatre is the place to be with a stage run of Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em.

The show has been adapted from Ray Allen’s classic and much-loved 1970s TV series which starred Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer and Michele Dotrice as the long-suffering Betty.

Expect loveable accident-prone Frank Spencer failing to navigate even the easiest tasks of daily life, while also trying to look after his wife and baby. This is going to be proper job laugh out loud comedy.

Barn Theatre’s Artistic Director Iwan Lewis said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to bring ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em’ to the Barn Theatre! This was one of my Grandmother’s favourite TV shows so as Frank Spencer would say, “I’ll try not to make a hash of it, Betty.”

“We can’t wait to share Frank’s iconic comedic chaos with you on the Barn Theatre stage. Expect a whirlwind of laughs – Betty herself would be proud. It’s going to be smashing!”

Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em will be on at Barn Theatre from 08 July – 17 August 2024
