This year’s Christmas production at The Barn Theatre is The Brothers Grimm Presents: Cinderella

The full cast and creative crew of The Barn Theatre’s production for Christmas has finally been announced.

Cast of The Brothers Grimm Present: Cinderella

This year’s show will be performed by actor musicians Anna Fordham, Celia Cruwys-Finnigan, Elzbieta Kalicka, Emily Panes, Jesse Ashby, Matthew Romain and Tanya Bridgeman.

The production has been written by Alan Pollock, directed by Francesca Goodridge, with music composed and arranged by Tarek Merchant.

Design comes from Cory Shipp, musical direction by Dylan Townley, movement direction by Jodie Cole and Christina Fulcher, casting direction by Polly Jerrold, lighting design by Sam Rowcliffe-Tanner, sound design by Harry Smith and animation by Barn Digital Media.

This year’s festive offering is based on the folk tale of Cinderella as told by the Brothers Grim. Wilhelm and Jakob are up late arguing. A young girl appears and before we know it, we’re launched into this musical tale of Cinderella, brought alive with singing, illusion and puppetry.

The Brothers Grimm Presents: Cinderella will be at the Barn Theatre from 16 November 2021 until 02 January 2022.
