The Crucible London Run Will Star Milly Alcock

The National Theatre’s production of The Crucible is opening in London’s West End this summer, with Milly Alcock making her West End debut as Abigail.

Alcock is most known for Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, which she stars in alongside Matt Smith.

“To say it’s a dream come true to work on such an iconic play with such a distinguished theatre company is an understatement,” she says. “I am beyond thrilled.”

Arthur Miller’s play of power and its abuse is based on the Salem Witch trials. This production originally ran at the National Theatre in the Autumn of 2022. It will now play at the the Gielgud Theatre from 07 June until 02 September 2023.

Lyndsey Turner’s production features incredible set design by Es Devlin and lighting design by Tim Lutkin, shown in the below images.

During the run, there will be Captioned, Audio Described and a BSL Interpreted Performances.

The performance runs at 2 hours 50 minutes including an interval.
