The Mousetrap Celebrates 70 Years on New UK and Ireland Tour
The Mousetrap comes to the Bristol Hippodrome on its 70th Anniversary Tour
The world’s longest running play is launching a brand new UK and Ireland tour this September, visiting 70 venues across the country – to include all the cities it originally played 70 years ago.
The success of Agatha Christie’s play has been legendary, settling in the West End following its premiere touring production in 1952.
The whodunnit is now heading out on the road again with a tour that will stretch through to 2024.
“What better way to celebrate 70 glorious years of The Mousetrap by taking Agatha Christie’s world-famous whodunnit to over 70 towns and cities throughout the UK and Ireland,” The Mousetrap producer Adam Spiegel said.
“A true British classic, this beloved tale of intrigue and suspense is as enthralling today as it was when it first opened in 1952 and I am thrilled that audiences, of all ages, and from all corners of the country, will have the chance to see it in their local theatres.”
The Mousetrap will be at the Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 24 July – Sat 29 July 2023.
