The Wardrobe Theatre Announces Summer Season

What’s on at The Wardrobe Theatre This Summer – More than 40 new shows announced

The Wardrobe Theatre in Bristol, has announced a bumper summer season of new shows and returning favourites.

With a newly revamped website and ticket system, the popular fringe theatre venue is boasting more than 40 new shows during the summer months.

Until now, Tobacco Factory Theatres has supported The Wardrobe by managing their box office sales. Following a storming come-back after the Covid pandemic, the theatre felt it was time to take the next step with its on-going development.

Over the summer, audiences can expect a diverse line up of comedy, theatre, drag, LGBTQ+ and spoken word performances.

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s Summer Festival will bring 8 cutting edge contemporary plays. Drag comedy Murder He Didn’t Write will return due to popular demand. And, the theatre’s hit Christmas show The Good, The Bad & The Coyote Ugly will also be making a come back.

Florence Espeut-Nickless will be bringing her fantastic show Destiny back to Bristol audiences. Regular nights such as Story Slam, The Lost Cabaret and Closer Each Day will continue to run.
