Travelling Light Take Christmas Show Three Kings on the North Somerset Road

Three Kings Travelling Light Theatre:

 

Much loved Bristol theatre company Travelling Light, are working with North Somerset arts organisation Theatre Orchard, to bring magical Christmas show Three Kings to audiences in local residential homes.

Three Kings, created by Saikat Ahamed, Seamus Carey, Craig Edwards and Katie Sykes, tells an uplifting story about people from different walks of life who come together. Three strangers meet underneath a starlit sky and as darkness draws close, they being to share stories of their distant travels.

The show will be visiting residents in North Somerset Residential Homes between 28 November and 04 December. The homes will also welcome audiences of local children through the doors for everyone to enjoy the performances together.

“We are delighted to be bringing the wonderful Travelling Light’s latest show ‘Three Kings’  to cross-generational audiences in residential homes and community venues,” Fiona Matthews, Creative Director at Theatre Orchard said.

“A special festive opportunity for different paths to come together in a shared experience that should linger long in the memory.”

There will also be a public performance of Three Kings at Clevedon’s Theatre Shop.

Artistic Producer of Travelling Light, Heidi Vaughan said: “It is a privilege to perform in these places, to audiences who may appear very different but who are both brimming with stories. Three Kings is the perfect show to share with all ages especially at this time of year when people are vulnerable to feeling alone. Theatre is a gentle way to bring people together.”

The public performance of Three Kings will be taking place on Saturday 01 December 2018 at Theatre Shop, Clevedon.
