Waitress Musical Bristol Date Announced for UK and Ireland Tour

Waitress musical Bristol Hippodrome Date Announced:

Smash hit musical Waitress, is going out on its first every UK and Ireland tour and coming to the Bristol Hippodrome in March 2021.

The musical is based on the 2007 movie written by Adrienne Shelley, with music and lyrics written by hit singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. The book is by Jessie Nelson, with direction from Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.

It tells the story of expert pie maker Jenna, who dreams of a way out her loveless marriage. A baking competition in a nearby county may offer her the escape she needs – especially when she meets the town’s new doctor. The musical explores the themes of friendship, motherhood as well as well-made pie.

Waitress will be coming to the Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 09 March until Saturday 13 March 2021.
