Wallace and Gromit Bristol Hippodrome:
It’s a cracking live orchestral show coming to the Bristol Hippodrome next year, as Carrot Productions and Aardman bring a family screening of The Wrong Trousers with a live orchestra.
Wallace & Gromit: In Concert in May 2020, will feature a first half performance of live classical musical for youngsters in an accessible way, followed by the screening in the second act.
Presenter Matthew Sharp will compere the event with music performed by the Picture House Orchestra – an orchestra comprising players from orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé, LSO and BBC Symphony.
A model making workshop will also be taking place on the day with Aardman model builders taking children through the steps to create their own Gromit to take home.
Two performances will be taking place on Sunday 31 May 2020.
