West End Macbeth Has Phenomenal Cast
David Tennant and Cush Jumbo signed programmes at Stage Door after the performance
This might be a London show, but it’s very much worth the trip to the West End.
If you haven’t seen Macbeth in the West End yet it’s an absolute treat. With a fantastic cast headed by David Tennant and Cush Jumbo, Shakespeare’s play is once again a thrilling on the edge of your seat ride.
There aren’t many tickets left for the run. Some that remain are quite pricey. But there are still some tickets available at the £20 mark for shows that aren’t entirely sold out. The run finishes on Saturday 14 December.
Having seen it at the Donmar Warehouse earlier this year, we went to London to see the play twice at the Harold Pinter Theatre, because it was so good.
Having no interval keeps the play running at pace. The use of binaural sound technology also completely immerses us in the action.
Whilst David Tennant and Cush Jumbo share top billing and are most talked about in online spaces, it has to be said that the rest of the cast were phenomenal.

On both of the performances we watched, David Tennant came out to sign as many Macbeth programmes as he could fit in. Cush Jumbo did the same on the Saturday evening.
Both stars were entirely gracious and generous with their time at a point they probably wanted to just go home.

Those waiting inside the stalls bar were treated to the sound of the final sword fight being practiced on stage at double time ahead of the auditorium opening.
