Show of Strength Theatre Company Celebrates 40 Years

Bristol’s Show of Strength Theatre Company is celebrating its 40th anniverary this weekend. To celebrate, the company is running a weekend exhibition filled with posters, film and behind-the-scenes stories from their four decades of theatre-making.

The company was founded in 1986, with early performances taking place at the Tobacco Factory Theatres and Thekla.

The company has evolved into one of the most important theatre companies in Bristol.

They run a series of theatre walks across Bristol and Bath, bringing local stories and legends to audiences on the doorstep they occurred.

The event is running at The PIT on Wells Road in Totterdown.
