Applications Open For Free Theatre Training and Development

A free training and development opportunity is being offered by one of the country’s leading community theatre organisations – that’s right here in Bristol.

acta Community Theatre is taking applications for skills-building programme Elevate.

It’s for socially engaged theatre-makers and artists who have some experience of working creatively with communities.

acta does say that they are always interested in hearing from anyone who is passionate about arts, theatre and building those creative communities.

There are just ten spaces on the course. The group will meet around once a month for structured workshops led by acta workers who will share their professional practice and experience.

There will be opportunities for a chance to try out ideas with course attendees and share and receive feedback.

Acta will be offering the Elevate course free of charge due to funding from The Singer Foundation.
