Show Of Strength Adds More Summer Dates

Additional dates have been added to keep up with demand for this popular event

Blood, Blackbeard and Buccaneers is one of Show of Strength theatre company’s most popular theatre walks, so much so that the company has added extra dates to keep up with demand.

It’s a theatre walk which puts you in Blackbeard’s footsteps. You will explore Bristol docks to find out the truth about Edward Teach, the world’s most infamous pirate.

He was said to have been born in Bristol with new research in Jamaica showing the Teach family definitely had West Country origins.

Join Show of Strength’s fully-qualified Pirate guide who will be accompanied by Ted – the fact checking parrot.

Additional dates have now been added on Tuesday 28 July and Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 6pm.
