Diana The Untold and Untrue Story at Alma Tavern Theatre
Linus Karp is back in Bristol with brand new show- Diana The Untold and Untrue Story – at the Alma Tavern Theatre this December.
In January this year, Karp brought Bristol the true genius of his PowerPoint presentation fringe hit show – How To Live A Jellicle Life: Life Lessons From The 2019 Hit Movie Musical ‘Cats’.
In mere days following the show, we decided to be ‘more Jellicle’, rescuing and taking on an abandoned kitten living in the bin store. Being ‘more Jellicle’ actually translated into replacing three duvets, my favourite jumper and £150 vet bills to find out the cat was simply hot and cross in the heatwave.
We immediately purchased tickets when we heard the funny Linus was back in Bristol with his new show, so here’s hoping the following days will not result in Being More Diana.
This brand new show from Awkward Productions, combines drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry and ‘a lot of queer joy’. Linus Karp is of course Diana, with support from other members of the Royal Family in multimedia videos, voice overs, giant dolls and cardboard cut-outs.
We already have How To Live A Jellicle Life: Life Lessons From The 2019 Hit Movie Musical ‘Cats’ in our Top Five Favourite Shows of 2022, so this one should be an absolute blast.
Diana The Untold and Untrue Story has a running time of one hour and aimed at an audience of 16 years upwards.
The show will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre from 01 – 04 December 2022.
