Uncaged Theatre stages play in Bristol after successful Bath date

South west based Uncaged Theatre will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre this August with Faith. It’s a piece of theatre exploring what it means to survive in a world where violence against women is so prevalent.

Friends Colly, Kaia, Mercy and Theo have been there for each other for over a decade – navigating all the good and all the bad. Through their friendship they have come to understand the value of love, both platonic and romantic. At the end of the day, your friends are your true family.

When a woman close to the friendship group goes missing, they must grapple with the fall out. There’s social media trolls, victim blaming and the disparity in media coverage between missing white women compared to women of the Global Majority.

Faith asks ‘if nothing ever changes, can there even be a happy ending?’
