Last Chance to see Oliver Twist at Tobacco Factory Theatres
Oliver Twist Takes the Biscuit – at least 400 of them through the entire run
It’s coming up to your last chance to see Oliver Twist at Tobacco Factory Theatres this month. The show, which started back in December 2023, will be coming to an end on 21 January.
Hopefully the cast are fans of the Jammie Dodger. The production will have gone through at least 400 on-stage biscuits during its entire run.
It’s the first production under Heidi Vaughan’s tenure as the Artistic Director of Tobacco Factory Theatres. What a start its been. Alongside Adam Peck’s entertaining and thought-provoking writing placing Bristol at the very centre of this heart-warming show, Oliver Twist has been another Christmas hit for the theatre.
To go with the 400 biscuits, the cast of six are also busy with 80 costume changes in each performance. That comes to a staggering 5,360 changes during the entire run.
If you’ve not seen the show yet you do still have time. Oliver Twist runs at Tobacco Factory Theatres until the 21 January 2024.
