The hit musical is being staged by popular Bristol musical theatre company
Popular horror comedy musical Little Shop of horrors, is being performed by Bristol Musical Comedy Club this autumn.
Floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names Audrey II – after the coworker he has a crush on.
The carnivorous plant promises Seymour fame and fortune as long as he keeps feeding it blood. Soon enough, Seymour discovers the plant’s intent towards global domination.
The show features music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman. The musical is perhaps most well known by its 1986 movie adaptation starring Rick Moranis as Seymour.
Bristol Musical Comedy Club – one of the city’s oldest theatre companies – will be bringing the show to St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School – right in time for the spooky season.
