Robin Belfield Joins The Winter’s Tale Creative Team at Tobacco Factory Theatres
Tobacco Factory Theatres’ has announced its latest addition to the creative team for next year’s highly anticipated Shakespeare production.
Theatre director and writer Robin Belfield will be editing The Winter’s Tale.
Robin’s career has seen him collaborate with theatre industry greats including Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), Shakespeare’s Globe, Richard Burton Company, RWCMD and Nuffield Theatre, Southampton.
As well as being an Associate Director for The Unicorn Theatre, he wrote the book – Telling the Truth: How to Make Verbatim Theatre.
Robin says he’s ‘delighted’ to join the creative team at Tobacco Factory Theatres for The Winter’s Tale.
“The Tobacco Factory is a special place for me having lived in Bedminster for many years,” he says.
“It’s a play that offers such rich storytelling opportunities, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with Heidi and the creative team to bring this Shakespearean masterpiece alive and to see it performed in the round at TFT.”
