Just a couple of months after lamenting the fact we don’t get enough serial killer musicals, along comes The White Heart Inn. It’s an original slasher horror story coming to the Alma Tavern Theatre next month.

Apricity Theatre, Black Dog Productions and Dumb Blond Theatre have teamed up to create a story following five guests arriving at the White Heart Inn.

Why are the eccentric owners obsessed with the marshes? What of the inn’s violent past?

The show is billed as a feminist twist on the horror genre, with LGBT + themes and combines satire with tense social commentary.

The White Heart Inn will be at the Alma Tavern Theatre from Wednesday 23 – Saturday 26 February 2022.
