Which Bristol Theatres Have Air Con?

Theatres in the city are the place to be, with their air cooling systems

Does ‘this’ theatre have air con? is a question we have been messaged a few times over the last month.

It’s good news in this heatwave, because the show can go on – in fully air conditioned Bristol theatres.

All of these Bristol theatres have air con:

Bristol Hippodrome – This has excellent air con. Sit around W row if you want a serious cooling down.

Bristol Old Vic – This has excellent air con. We have tried and tested it in over 30 degrees heat.

Tobacco Factory Theatres – This has excellent air con. We have tried and tested it in over 30 degrees heat. During the show The Fit Prince, the audience gave a round of applause just for the air con system being so good.

The Wardrobe Theatre – This has excellent air con. We have tried and tested it in over 30 degrees heat.

Alma Tavern Theatre – This has pretty much excellent air con. We have tried and tested it in over 30 degrees heat. Get there early if you’re picky about seats in the heat, because though cool, it is an intimate space.
