Windmill Hill City Council Suffers Third Break-In
Donations have been stolen along with a decorative sheep
A much loved city farm in South Bristol, has been targetted by vandals for the third time this year.
On Monday morning, farm staff arrived at Windmill Hill City Farm to find its reception area had been vandalised and donations had been stolen.
Thieves even made off with a little model sheep.

The farm called the break-in ‘devastating’ saying that ‘vital funds that could go towards essential maintenance has to be used to fix the breakages.’
Earlier this year, the farm’s cafe door was smashed and money was stolen.
Posting on Instagram the farm said they didn’t know why they were being targetted. They also said that it was having a ‘lasting impact on the morale of our team’.
Windmill Hill City Farm is celebrating its fiftieth year in 2026 with an celebration planned in September.
The popular Bedminster venue also has an outdoor theatre with events taking place through the year.
