Creative Silly Serious Sessions Launches in Bedminster
It’s an opportunity to try out physical theatre for the first time as well practicing current skills
A new weekly session for people wanting a safe space to express their creativity launches at The Elephant House this month.
Silly Serious Sessions is a mix of creativity through physical theatre games and exercises, exploring creativity through the voice, expressive art and dance improv.
The sessions are run by Nina, who has training and a background in contemporary dance, physical theatre, music and expressive art.
Nina says expect “creating nonsense worlds and nonsense sounds and soundscapes – drawing from and soaring on our personal collective imagination.”
No previous experience is required to take part, just the willingness to give it ago.
“This is a good space for someone dipping their toe into physical theater for the first time and a nice playfield for someone who has done it before,” Nina says.
Silly Serious Sessions will take place every Thursday – with a break for half term.
The will be at The Elephant House in Bedminster and run from 7pm – 8.30pm.
