Hunters. Gatherers by Stepping Out Theatre, is currently running at the Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol.
The show examines human nature and what it means to be human through a series of solo performances. Each one stems from our universal need to hunt and gather, and shows how we do that in unlikely ways in the modern world.
Stepping Out Theatre is a mental heath theatre charity, working with people experiencing mental illness.
Founder and CEO of Stepping Out Theatre, Steve Hennessy said: “This has been an incredible project to watch unfold. Every performer has also written their solo piece to come under the banner of hunters and gatherers. The result is incredibly authentic, thought provoking and also very funny at times. We can’t wait to bring it to audiences. We are grateful to the Arts Council funding that we received to make the show a reality.”
Hunters. Gatherers runs at The Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol from 26 March to 07 April.
