Derek Jarman’s incredible life comes to Clifton Theatre

Jarman, by Mark Farrelly, will be coming to the Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol this month.

It’s a solo play written by Farelly about Derek Jarman, a creative who spanned art, film making and design industries as well as being a leading gay rights activist.

He also directed a large body of work in the music industry, including videos for Suede, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths and Marianne Faithful.

Farrelly’s play explores the life of Jarman from Dungeness to Soho. It’s also performed by Farrelly and directed by Sarah-Louise Young.
